"legitimatecy" was my history teacher's taboo of last class.
Today's history teacher taboo is:
"The Europeans and the Africans traded flora, fauna, and animals."
Clearly she is unaware that "fauna" means animals. I am upset to be in a class where I am smarter than the teacher.

I couldn't be more UNexcited to be at school right now. I just found my classes because I never check them until the day of. My first class is at nine. Ain't nothin but a thang.
At least I found good parking. I guess I should start counting my blessings. At least I'm at school and I didn't drop out or anything. Rar!

Yay for the internet. I'm at school using the computer lab for internet because I'm so incredible. But really, it's because I don't have the internet working at home. Dammit. Can't be a war-driver my entire life.
I'm going to type out my resume so I can audition for Sweeney this weekend. Awesome. I'm so excited. Raise your hand if you like Sweeney Todd!
That's all I'm really doing as of late, besides working 50 hours this week at the cotton plantation--I mean Innoventions.

So, I don't remember what order any of these things happened in, but this was last week and then some:
There was Angel's goodbye from Inno, which was sad, but I had an awesome time with everyone that night.
There was dodgeball at some point where I had a buttload of fun, but I got injured, but I got exercise, so it's all good. I haven't played dodgeball in so long.
There was Jordan's goodbye which was way sad because Jordan is love and he's going away soon. I didn't have as fun a time that night because people came and left so quickly and plus, SOMEBODY was being a total manbitch. (*cough cough* Kevin Fukawa). I'll have to express my anger to him in person some time this week. There's a difference between rude and charming.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was shmeh. I love the original, always will. I have to say, I expected a little more from Johnny Depp but he was still funny. The oompa loompa was madness.
Let's see...Current things are:
I have 52 hours to work next week. (49.5 when you take away the lunch hours.) I've never had that many hours at any job before. It'll be exciting. I have three ten and a half hour shifts, two of which are back to back. I'm getting about 10 hours of overtime.
Big Ups to Bryan's dad for getting through surgery.
Big Ups to Bryan for still braving Culinary school and creme brulees, etc.
Some moron hit Ivan's car and a bunch of other cars at the same time. What a genius. And now poor Ivan has to get his car fixed. Hopefully everything will be alright. I totally need to move. I can't take the ghettoness of it all anymore.
Need to see at least one of the "Anything Goes" shows.
Savannah's birthday this week!
SPEAKING OF SAVANNAH!
Last night, I had a dream that there was a yard sale in front of my high school. People were selling new wheelchairs. Savannah was there--with her little redhead self--looking for a wheelchair for her grandmother because I guess my subconscious thinks that that's what Savannah does all day. There was an asian family with a disabled little girl looking for a wheelchair as well. There was a fancy electric wheelchair that was really pretty. Savannah bought it first, but she wanted to give the little disabled girl an opportunity to try the chair out so she could buy one later. The little girl liked it, but did not understand that the chair was not hers. Her father asked her nicely to get out of the chair, and the little girl started screaming and went all ape shit. She started attacking Savannah, who then yells, "Ahhh!" in a little Savannah-ish way, and then Savannah runs towards me. I'm parked across the street from the school, watching the entire thing. (Perhaps I was in the market for a wheelchair as well??)
Anyways, the little girl gets a golf club and is trying to hit Savannah and I yell, "Don't hit my car!"
Suddenly, the sentiment changes and Savannah is no longer scared. She kind of does the boxer dance with her fists in front of her face and she says to the little girl, "Come on, little girl!"
And then the little girl sees me, tries to attack me, and I say, "Hey! If you're F***ing with Savannah, You're F***ing with ME!" and then we all fight and I can't remember who won, but I'm pretty sure it was Savannah and me.
If that's not random, someone tell me what is.

I am in POOlitical Science class right now. I don't feel like paying much attention. I turned on my laptop and it was on the highest volume level because I was listening to music yesterday in my room. So yeah, totally interuppted the teacher, distracted my class, etc. That was fun. I want a quesadilla.
sorry. I'm so hungry.
Oh yes, now I remember: After having been on my HEALTH FOOD(!!??) kick for a good while, I decided to cut myself some slack and eat at Denny's.
And then I broke out. I've got three zits on my face. There are two on my chin and one really embarassing big one underneath my chin which I didn't notice for a while since it's sort of hidden, but I'm sure everyone else saw it. I popped it. Eww, God I'm hot.

I'm so happy it's payday. I get money, I get money, I get money.
I'm going fucking shopping. I haven't gone shopping in a good two weeks in order to save my money, and not surprisingly, I saved alot of money. I magically have 300 dollars in my bank account that otherwise would have been 100 dollars if I had been shopping this week. Problem is, I still have to save up for when I spent my dad's emergency money that he gave me. Did I mention this?
My dad randomly gave ME 300 dollars to hide inside my car and if I should get carjacked or ambushed in some way while I'm in my car, giving the criminal 300 dollars is supposed to stop them from killing me. To some extent, it's cute and fatherly and understandable. At the same time, how could you hand any person my age that much money in cash and expect me not to spend it? He gave me 15 twenty dollar bills and basically told me not to spend it.
So uhh....yeah I spent it all. I forget on what. I know most of it was "necessary" stuff. You know, food, shampoo(well, hair products)................and Victoria's Secret. Fuck. Ok well, at least I didn't spend it on like....cd's or anything or movies(which I'd really like to own. I have like three movies to my name) and I didn't spend it on extremely fat food, just food food. It was because that week I didn't make any money at work because I.....didn't go...to...work.
I'm naughty.
Ok, the point is that I can refreshen that fund and perhaps since it's my money from work that I made, maybe I won't be so quick to spend it.
In other news, I miss everyone. I can't wait for another couple of weeks when I'm done with summerschool and then I can do whatever I want aside from when I need to be at work.
Oh! Speaking of summerschool, I'm really proud of myself because on my Political Science essay test I got a 90! Hurray! If I had studied the vocabulary terms I would have gotten something better, but a 90 is good enough for the first test. Yay! I AM POLITICAL SCIENCE GIRL! ~.^

10:45 pm - summer school and ish

i started summer school this morning at 8. yay. i get to go to school at 8 every morning for a long time. i had philosophy this morning. tomorrow, i start political science. yay. soooooo tired. i don't really mind philosophy cuz the teacher's pretty awesome. i hope my other teacher won't be too bad. i'm scared. The class is basically American Government, which I KNOW I'm not going to be good at.
This is my schedule for the summer:
Monday through Thursday: Philosophy @ 8-10:10
Tuesday through Friday: Political Science @ 10:30-12:40
Work Monday and Wednesday from 3 until at least 7, probably until 9
Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday whenever the hell they want me to.
No work on Tuesdays and Thursdays =)...
but there is always homework for Philosophy and Political Science. =(
